Welcome: let's get off to the Best Start!

Welcome to the Best Management Practice Knowledge Centre. We hope you find its content not just stimulating but useful too. At the very least, it should serve as a timely reminder that wherever you are in the world of Best Practice, you are not alone.

This is the first time OGC, APM Group, the Best Practice User Group, itSMF and publishers TSO have worked together to create such a comprehensive source of best practice information. We're taking a wide-ranging approach: from articles by the worldwide Best Practice Community right though to features, book reviews and news of forthcoming publications.

Our Ask the Experts panel provides you with an opportunity to fire off that question to a multi-disciplinary panel drawn from OGC, APM Group, Best Practice User Group, itSMF and TSO. On top of all that, you'll find information on all the core OGC publications so you can see just how broad their scope is and how they fit together.

You will find News articles from TSO, OGC, itSMF, APM Group, Best Practice user Group, how to get the most from OGC's Best Practice products; testimonials for PRINCE2 and ITIL from some of the world's leading businesses; publication reviews to name but a few.

Just as Best Practice works by pulling together the best management processes, so we hope this centre will do something similar. We welcome any feedback on the Centre simply write to us at OGC@tso.co.uk titling your email Best Practice Knowledge Centre.

Your Opportunity: make this site your own

In the true spirit of Best Practice, we see the Best Management Practice Knowledge Centre as a collaborative, ongoing project and very much hope that you will want to become involved. In fact, like Best Practice, the greater your involvement, the better the result.

Firstly, we urge you to write into our panel of experts with your queries. This is the first time such a broad team of Best Practice experts has been assembled - so take this opportunity.

Secondly, we want articles. Have you got an anecdote to share that illustrates how you implemented one of the products? Can you tell us some of the effects one - or more - of the programmes has had on your organisation? Perhaps one or more of the features sparks an idea or you'd like to review an up and coming publication. We would warmly welcome your input.

For one or all of the above, do get in touch with us.

All you have to do is send your emails to us at OGC@tso.co.uk
